Derrick Stubbs Legacy of Leadership honored in SCACPA’s Top 100 Influential People In Accounting

Derrick, Stubbs & Stith, LLP, a Columbia firm providing accounting, auditing, taxation and business consulting, is pleased to announce five of its accountants, including the firm’s three founding partners, have been named to the South Carolina Association of CPAs’ (SCACPA) list of 100 Influential People in Accounting.

Founding partners Noah E. Derrick, CPA; W.J. Stubbs Jr., CPA and H. Talcott Stith Jr., CPA were recognized, in memoriam, for their leadership and influence in the industry along with recently retired partner A. David Masters, CPA, CGMA and Hugh R. Penny, CPA, who are still active with the firm.

The accountants were honored during SCACPA’s 100th Anniversary Gala. The accountants’ names will also appear in “The History of South Carolina CPAs,” a special book commemorating SCACPA’s rich history in South Carolina.

SCACPA is a statewide association representing more than 4,000 CPAs and other accounting professionals.
