Derrick Stubbs Tax & Audit Specialist Caroline Hinson selected for Leadership Columbia Class of 2017

Derrick, Stubbs & Stith, LLP, a Columbia firm providing accounting, auditing, taxation and business consulting, announce Caroline Hinson has been selected as a member of the Leadership Columbia Class of 2017.

A graduate of the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business, Caroline joined Derrick Stubbs in 2013. She provides auditing and tax planning services for clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, construction, education, not-for-profit, government entities, legal and other service organizations. She is a member of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA), Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), Columbia Opportunity Resource (COR), and a board member for the Midlands Technical College Accounting Advisory Board.

Founded by the Columbia Chamber in 1972, Leadership Columbia identifies and motivates emerging and existing leaders in the Midlands. Candidates are selected based on community involvement, capacity for leadership, commitment to improving the Midlands and an interest in enhancing their capabilities. The group will engage in a 10-month curriculum including monthly class sessions, a retreat, a class project and enrichment activities around the area. Caroline will be a member of Leadership Columbia’s 44th graduating class.
