DEW promotes new assistant executive director of Unemployment Insurance

COLUMBIA, SC – The S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce announced the appointment of Jamie Suber as the assistant executive director of the Unemployment Insurance Division.
Suber has been with DEW for seven years. In that time, he has functioned as both the Local Operations Director and the Interim Assistant Executive Director of the Unemployment Insurance Division. Prior to coming to DEW, Suber worked seven years for BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina.
Suber holds two undergraduate degrees and a Master of Business Administration degree. He and his wife, Meco, live in the Columbia area. They have a son and two daughters.
