Diamonds Direct names general manager for new Mt. Pleasant location

Diamonds Direct, a direct diamond importer based in Charlotte, N.C., will bring in Ayelet Gilady as general manager for its new Mt. Pleasant location, opening in mid-December.
In her role as general manager, Gilady will manage daily operations of the retail store and be responsible for client relations. She previously served as a member of the marketing and merchandising team for the Israeli Diamond Exchange in Tel Aviv, Israel. Prior to entering the diamond industry, Gilady spent over a decade working for some of the most reputable advertising agencies in Israel, where she gained experience in advertising and business development. During this time, she served as CEO and co-owner of a firm within Vario Group in Tel Aviv.
Gilady graduated from Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont, with a B.A. in business development. She later continued her education to obtain a LLB in law from Sha-arei Mishpat Academic College. After graduation, Gilady joined the Israeli Bar Association and was a practicing attorney for two years. Originally from Herzelia, Israel, she currently resides in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
