Diaper Drive Thru Tuesday, March 12 in Clinton

March 4, 2024

This month’s Diaper Drive Thru will take place in Clinton at the Victory Worship Center Parking Lot (located at the intersection of Highway 76 E and Springdale Drive) from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Tuesday, March 12th.

Support for the monthly Diaper Drive Thru events is growing with several new organizations joining the effort donating funds, diapers and helping with the events. Special thanks to Westminster Presbyterian Church for the ongoing efforts and to Cornerstone Baptist Church and Broad Street United Methodist Church for joining forces to support those in need.

Donations Needed

To meet the continually growing demand, there is a need for more diaper donations. Those willing to contribute can support by purchasing packs of diapers during their next shopping trip. Larger sizes (5, 6 & 7) and pull-ups are the most requested items and much needed.

With the addition of the Sanitary Market in Laurens, we now have three donation drop off locations.

Donations can be dropped off at these designated locations:

  • Sadler Hughes Apothecary in Clinton
  • Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices C. Dan Joyner Realtors in Clinton
  • Sanitary Market in Laurens (124 E Public Square) in Laurens

Participant Requirements

To ensure assistance reaches those genuinely in need, parents or guardians seeking help at the Diaper Drive Thru must present appropriate identification to verify their circumstances. Verification documents may include a copy of the parent or guardian’s photo ID, along with supporting documentation proving custody or birth. Eligible forms of verification include birth certificates, WIC or Medicaid cards for the child, foster care or custody paperwork, and daycare or school IDs. Each family is eligible to receive one pack of diapers and wipes per child, with a maximum of two children per household. Identification is only required the first time.

Collaboration with Carolina Pregnancy Center

In addition to providing diapers and wipes, the Diaper Drive Thru collaborates with the Carolina Pregnancy Center (CPC) from Spartanburg. CPC’s mobile unit will be present at the event, offering free pregnancy testing and ultrasounds as needed. This collaboration significantly enhances the event’s impact, providing comprehensive support to families facing challenges.

Making a difference, one pack of diapers at a time, served up with a smile and words of support and encouragement.
