Dickie McCamey Contiues to Build Its South Carolina Legal Team

LANCASTER, SC – Dickie McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. (DMC) welcomed Christopher F. Gibbs to its legal team in Lancaster, South Carolina.
Mr. Gibbsjoins the South Carolina office as special counsel, concentrating his practice in the areas of general liability, insurance defense, municipal, personal injury litigation, premises liability, and employment law. As first and co-chair counsel, Mr. Gibbs has tried multiple trials to verdict and is experienced in every phase of litigation.
Before his career in private practice, Mr. Gibbs served as a law clerk in the Securities and Civil Division at the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.

While in law school, Mr. Gibbs was a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch and had obtained the following certifications: Series 7 General Securities Registered Representative; Life, Health and Variable Annuity Insurance License; Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law License.
Mr. Gibbs earned his J.D. at the Charleston School of Law. He received his B.A. in English at The Citadel, where he was a SOCON Academic Honor, a four-year scholarship recipient, and a member of The Citadel football team.
