Get ready for an unparalleled evening of celebration as the highly anticipated Dining on the Dam returns, bringing together the best of Lexington and Richland Counties for a night of community connection and extraordinary experiences. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Murray, this event promises to deliver the best sunset in South Carolina, along with exquisite dining, sensational spirits, and tantalizing tunes guaranteed to have you dancing the night away!
Taking place on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m., Dining on the Dam will unite over 1,000 guests from across the Midlands and beyond. The event is an opportunity to celebrate the strong bond between neighboring communities in one of the most distinctively unique venues in our region. Attendees will indulge in a gourmet experience featuring a variety of exceptional dishes by Southern Way Catering, paired with a selection of crafted cocktails and balanced brews.

Guests will also be treated to live entertainment with music by the high-energy Big Time Band, whose diverse sound and infectious energy will keep everyone on their feet and dancing into the night. It’s an event that promises not only a delicious dining experience but also an unforgettable celebration on “Lake Murray, the Jewel of South Carolina.”
The event will take place on the historic Lake Murray Dam, with the top portion of the dam (including the walkway) closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic on April 6, beginning at 7:00 a.m. Traffic will be routed to the lower level of the dam. Parking will be available on both sides, in the Dominion Energy Public Parks, and two other off-site locations. Complimentary shuttles will be provided to transport guests from the parking areas to the entrance of the event.
