Distinguished South Carolina Banking Executive Craig Robinson Joins CresCom Bank

GREENVILLE, SC – CresCom Bank, the leader in community banking throughout the Carolinas, announced Craig Robinson has joined the organization as vice president and business development officer for its Upstate market. In his new position, Robinson will work on the development of quality loan and deposit relationships in the Upstate market for CresCom Bank. The bank recently announced the addition of its first Greenville-based branch set to open this fall, and currently operates 26 branch locations throughout the Carolinas.
Robinson boasts a highly distinguished banking career of nearly 40 years, having most recently served as the senior vice president of community affairs at Certus Bank. Prior to that, he served as Upstate market president for Bank of America.
An active member of the non-profit community, Robinson currently serves on the board of directors for Veteran Scholarships Forever (VSF) whose goal is to help U.S. military veterans to successfully transition back to civilian life. In this role, Robinson oversees the organization’s overall mission and determines scholarship funding for various colleges and programs.
Robinson received his bachelor of science in business administration from the University of South Carolina and is a graduate of the Banking School of the South at Louisiana State University.
