District 55 Announces eLearning for all Schools Tuesday January 18th

Laurens County School District 55 (LCSD 55) has announced an eLearning Day for district schools for Tuesday, January 18, 2022. “After consulting with knowledgeable officials and anticipating unsafe road conditions in certain areas throughout the district, the decision was made that we will operate in an eLearning phase on Tuesday,” said district superintendent Dr. Ameca Thomas. All afterschool activities are also canceled for Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
eLearning means that teachers will post assignments for students; there will be no live instruction. Students will have five school days from the date of return to complete assignments.
