District 56 Teacher Wins the Middle School Distinguished Literacy Teacher

November 30, 2021

Each year the Laurens County Literacy Association selects Elementary and Secondary Distinguished Literacy Teachers. All schools in the county select their school winners. All school winners make presentations before a panel of judges to determine the LCLA winners. This year the Middle School Distinguished Literacy Teacher is Katie Scarlett from Clinton Middle School. Ms. Scarlett will be recognized at the Palmetto State Literacy Association annual conference at the end of February in Hilton Head. Laurens County School District 56 is very proud of Mrs. Scarlett’s accomplishment and recognition!
