The Funder/Grantee Dynamic: A Candid Conversation

GREENVILLE, SC – May 13, 2013 – DNA Creative Communications (DNA) is excited to announce that their 2013 Shine the Light on Your Nonprofit educational series will begin in June with its first session The Funder/Grantee Dynamic: A Candid Conversation. 

The Funder/Grantee Dynamic will take place on Wednesday, June 13, 8:30 a.m.- noon, at the Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, 424 Westfield Street in Greenville. Exclusively for Board Members, Executive Directors, and Development Officers, topics will address clear communication between Funder and Grantee to avoid common misunderstandings and the pitfalls of power imbalance. Attendees will learn how to become better stewards of resources while fostering productive and results-driven business partnerships.

Since 2010 DNA has been offering the series which has drawn more than 600 participants representing more than 180 nonprofit organizations.  The workshops cover a variety of topics including branding, public relations, social media, online communications, and event planning. All local nonprofits that are interested in refining their communication efforts are encouraged to register for any seminar.
