Dominion announces new leadership in South Carolina

Dominion has named Dan Weekley as vice president of Southern Operations. Weekley began his new position in January 2017, reporting to Paul Ruppert, president-Dominion Midstream Operations.

Weekley will work with the Dominion leadership team to expand business growth opportunities in the Southern Region of the United States, and oversee 120 employees at Dominion Carolina Gas Transmission (DCGT). DCGT, with headquarters in Columbia, S.C., owns and operates nearly 1,500 miles of federally regulated interstate natural gas pipeline in South Carolinaand southeastern Georgia.

He joined Dominion in 2000 as director-Northeast Government Affairs, then was promoted in 2007 to managing director-Northeast Government Affairs, in 2011 to vice president-Government Affairs, and in 2014 to vice president-Corporate Affairs.

Weekley earned his bachelor’s degree in business and finance from Marshall University (W.Va.) and his executive master’s degree in business administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Keith Windle, general manager-DCGT, who led the integration of DCGT into Dominion following the acquisition from SCANA, will become vice president-Business Development and Merchant Operations, and will relocate to Richmond, Va., in July 2017. Windle will report to Paul Koonce, executive vice president and CEO-Dominion Generation Group.
