December 13, 2016

United Community Mortgage Services welcomes mortgage professional Donnell Drummond to its team in Upstate South Carolina. In his role as CRA Mortgage Loan Originator, Drummond will focus on generating Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) loans in an assigned metropolitan territory and support the bank’s CRA strategic plan as it relates to residential mortgage production.

“We are pleased to add Donnell to the Upstate United Community Mortgage team,” said Mike Davies, President, United Community Mortgage Services. “His knowledge of CRA loans and the real estate market in this region will be an incredible asset to our customers.”

Drummond has more than 20 years of experience in financial services, specifically in Affordable Housing Lending and Corporate Banking. Prior to joining United Community Bank, Drummond served as a Branch Manager and Community Development Manager with a regional bank, where he focused investments in underserved communities. A Greenville native, he has returned to the Upstate in recent years after spending time in both Atlanta, Ga. and Southern Florida. Drummond received a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina in 1987.

“I look forward to helping customers navigate the mortgage loan application process,” said Drummond. “I greatly appreciate being able to help customers realize their goals of home ownership and as a result, strengthen the community.”

Drummond also enjoys being active in the community. He is currently a member of the Warehouse Theatre Board and the CommunityWorks Microbusiness Loan Committee. He is an alumni of Leadership Greenville and has previously been involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters and Boy Scouts of America.
