Dorsel Elected to SC Governor's School for Science and Mathematics Alumni Association Board

CHARLESTON, SC – June 10, 2010  –  Turner Padgetis pleased to announce that Christopher T.  Dorsel, an associate in ourCharleston office, has been elected to the South Carolina Governor’sSchool for Science and Mathematics Alumni Association Board.  His termwill begin on July 1, 2010 and will last three years.  Chris practicesin the areas of civil litigation, specializing in both businesslitigation and insurance defense.  He graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina Honors College in 2000 andreceived his Juris Doctor in 2004 from the University of South CarolinaSchool of Law. 

 The Governor’s School is a public, residential high school forjuniors and seniors located in Hartsville, South Carolina and admissionis by application only.  The Governor’s School has been open to only 128students since its founding in 1988, but is currently working onexpanding the student body to 300 students.  In 2009, Newsweek ranked the Governor’s School as one of  the top public elite highschools in the country.
