Doug Bridges named REALTOR® of the Year

Central Carolina REALTORS® Association of South Carolina recently named Doug Bridges 2015 REALTOR® of the Year.
Mr. Bridges from Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS accepted the prestigious honor along with his Northeast Branch Broker-in-Charge, Rebecca Hanlon.
Mr. Bridges has a long-standing history in Columbia real estate, dating back to the start of his career in August 1972, with Tom Jenkins Gallery of Homes. With a strong connection to the community and industry, Mr. Bridges also serves as a current Director on the Board of the Central Carolina Realtor Association and is recognized as a Realtor Emeritus by the National Association of REALTORS®.
“Outside of real estate my greatest contribution has probably been my commitment and work effort in community affairs here in the Columbia area,” said Mr. Bridges. “I am involved and enjoy very much the friendships that I have made over the years through community activities.”
REALTOR® of the Year is an award that is chosen by the recipient’s peers and is significant as it reflects the agent’s professionalism and how they have interacted with other CCRA agents and brokers throughout the year.
Mr. Bridges is married to his wife of 40 years, Teena. They have two grown sons, Doug Jr., a certified Public Accountant in Asheville, NC and Guy in Columbia.
