Doug West, LEED AP Named Senior Vice President of Construction for Red Rock Developments

COLUMBIA, SC – January 17, 2008 – C. Douglas West, LEED AP, has been named Senior Vice President of Construction for Red Rock Developments, a commercial real estate development company headquartered in Columbia, South Carolina. He joins Bill Smith, Chief Executive Officer and David Cuda, President of the newly formed company. As Senior Vice President of Construction, West will oversee Red Rock Developments construction projects. He heads up the Project Development Services Division, helping Red Rock’s clients manage the details of the construction project avoiding risk, saving time and money.
West holds Professional Accreditation with the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System. Members of this organization encourages global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices. LEED is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings.

Red Rock Developments has projects underway throughout the southeast. They most recently partnered with the Rock Hill Economic Development Corporation to market and co-develop on two projects in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Their initial focus is on land and spec buildings primarily along
the I-85, I-20, I-40, and I-95 corridors with build-to-suit/lease projects.
