Dr. Abigayle Campbell, PharmD, BCPS Named SCSHP 2022 Young Pharmacist of the Year

Dr. Abigayle Campbell, PharmD, BCPS, daughter of Angela and Curtis Campbell of Clinton, was recently named The South Carolina Society of Health-System Pharmacists (SCSHP) 2022 Young Pharmacist of the Year. The award was presented to her on March 3 at the SCSHP Annual Conference in Charleston, South Carolina.
The award is given annually to an active health systems pharmacist with extraordinary achievements and contributions to health-systems pharmacy and/or involvement with the Society.
Campbell was nominated by her peers for the award after serving the state in various capacities including:
- Leading COVID 19 therapeutic efforts for Self-Regional Healthcare in Greenwood SC
- Creating and providing a new clinical pharmacy service in the Behavior Health Center for psychiatry pharmacy practice
- Precepting over 20+ students and pharmacy residents over the course of her 4 years in practice
Her mother, Angela Davis, works for Fukoku and her father, Kirk Davis, works for Fuji Film.
