Dr. Alex Gaudin, named Best & Brightest 35 & Under

August 12, 2026

The South Carolina Pediatric Alliance (SCPA) announced that Dr. Alexandra Gaudin, MD, FAAP, has been named to Columbia Business Monthly’s 2026 Best & Brightest 35 and Under. This annual honor recognizes rising leaders across the Midlands for their professional achievement and who are making an impact in their local communities.

Dr. Gaudin, a native of Starkville, Mississippi, joined the South Carolina Pediatric Alliance in 2025 after completing her pediatric residency at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Mississippi State University and her medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Known for a patient-first approach that emphasizes preventive care, family education and connecting families with the resources they need to thrive, Dr. Gaudin stated, “As both a mother and a pediatrician, I understand how much parents want to feel confident that their children are receiving the very best care. It is wonderful to be recognized alongside so many talented young leaders in the Midlands. I’m excited to continue growing as a physician and finding ways to make a positive difference for children and their families.”

“Dr. Gaudin represents the kind of physician who makes the South Carolina Pediatric Alliance a place that families know they can trust for the comprehensive care of their children from newborns to young adults” said Mark Delahunty, Chief Executive Officer of South Carolina Pediatric Alliance. “She brings energy and compassion to every exam room, and we couldn’t be prouder to see her talent celebrated across the Midlands business and medical communities.”

Dr. Gaudin will be honored alongside this year’s other Best & Brightest 35 and Under recipients at an awards celebration hosted by Columbia Business Monthly. The publication will feature Dr. Gaudin in their September edition.
