Dr. Jennifer Logan appointed as Peer Reviewer for the prestigious English Journal
May 1, 2026In a significant move to advance nationwide literacy education, Dr. Jennifer Logan has been selected to serve as a Peer Reviewer for the highly esteemed English Journal: A Journal of Ideas for Middle and High School English Language Arts Teachers, which is a publication of the National Council of Teachers of English.
Dr. Logan is a Research Specialist with the Center of Excellence in Educator Preparation and Innovation (EPI Center). This prestigious appointment places her at the forefront of educational research. As a reviewer for this premier publication, she will actively evaluate and shape the innovative ideas, emerging methodologies, and high-impact practices that support K-12 English Language Arts (ELA) educators nationwide.
Dr. Logan’s decision to join the peer review board is grounded in a commitment to continuous improvement and educational excellence. By engaging directly with upcoming research, she aims to deepen her analytical and editorial expertise.
“I chose to serve as a Peer Reviewer to build expertise in publication from content parameters, critique, and formatting,” shared Dr. Logan. “This experience will upskill my professional development as an improvement science practitioner, educator, and research associate.”
Dr. Logan intends to use this prominent role to benefit not just the national academic community, but also the local networks and educators she champions every day. She plans to act as a vital bridge between high-level educational research and practical classroom implementation.
