Dr. Martha Cohen becomes partner at Lowcountry Women’s Specialists

Lowcountry Women’s Specialists announced that Dr. Martha Cohen has joined the practice as a full partner.

“Dr Cohen joined our practice in 2019, and is admired and respected by our patients, staff, and medical partners,” said Stacey Mosay, LCWS Practice Manager. “Her skill, compassion, professionalism, and dedication are exemplary.”

Dr. Cohen will continue to provide comprehensive OB/GYN services, including routine wellness visits and high-risk pregnancy management, at both the Summerville and Carnes Crossroads offices. A native of Macon, GA, Dr. Cohen earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and minor in religion at the University of Georgia, her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine, and completed a four year residency program at the Medical Center of Central Georgia/Navicent Health. Dr. Cohen and her husband J. Slade Edwards have two children, and she enjoys travel, tennis, boating, cooking, and fishing.
