Dr. Nika White selected as local city director for national women’s empowerment organization

Walker’s Legacy, a digital platform for the professional and entrepreneurial multicultural woman, has announced Dr. Nika White as its new city director for Greenville, SC.

Dr. Nika White, founder of Nika White Consulting, LLC is a national authority and fearless advocate for diversity, inclusion, and equity. As an award-winning management and leadership consultant, keynote speaker, published author, and executive practitioner for DEI efforts across business, government, non-profit and education, Dr. White helps organizations break barriers and integrate inclusion into their business frameworks.

Dr. Nika White is one of ten (10) Walker’s Legacy City Directors selected from a national call which garnered a pool of more than 100 talented applicants.  Selected leaders will aid in furthering the Walker’s Legacy mission in their local business communities through impactful in-person programming and local engagement.

The Walker’s Legacy Greenville launch will take place on January 23, 2020 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at Memoirs Events and Catering. The launch will include a reception, ceremonious ribbon cutting, meet and greet with national team and executive fireside chat with Elizabeth Jende Chevalier, President and CEO with EJC MOVE. Elizabeth specializes in empowering women leaders to soar with confidence and inspiring companies to move forward knowing their competitive advantage is always a direct result when there is diversity and women leaders in key decision-making roles. Women in attendance will have the opportunity to tap into local resources and gain business contacts needed to take their career and business ventures into the new decade.

In recognition of March, Women’s History Month, national Walker’s Legacy City Directors will host Meet Your Match, a mentor matchmaking event. This national programming promotes direct networking, mentorship, and engagement with successful business leaders.
