Jeff Wilson to Address Pickens County Chapter on Meaningful Use
GREENVILLE, SC – October 7, 2010 – E-Scribe, LLC, a healthcare information management company located in Greenville, S.C., announced that President and Founder Jeff Wilson will serve as a guest speaker at the Pickens County Chapter of the South Carolina Medical Group Management Association (SCMGMA) meeting.
Beginning at 12:15 p.m. on Oct. 27, 2010 at the Pickens County Library, Wilson will address the audience of area medical group managers with a presentation titled “A Perspective on the State of Healthcare, Innovation, Opportunity and EHRs” The presentation will provide key points about the state of the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH), and related financial incentives related to electronic health records.
As president and founder of E-Scribe, Wilson is responsible for market analysis, strategic partnerships, and long-range planning. Prior to forming E-Scribe, Wilson served 10 years in sales, sales training, and sales management at international pharmaceutical company Schering-Plough. He received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Clemson University in Clemson, S.C. in 1991. He is active at Buncombe Street United Methodist Church, and in a number of professional and social organizations throughout North and South Carolina. Wilson resides in Greenville, S.C.
