Eagle Aviation ranked among top 5% of aviation service providers in the Americas
April 16, 2026Top-tier recognition in the 2026 AIN FBO Survey for service to private aviation at Columbia Metropolitan Airport
Eagle Aviation at Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE) has been recognized among the top 5% of aviation service providers in the Americas in the 2026 AIN FBO Survey, a leading industry benchmark based on direct feedback from pilots, flight crews, and aircraft operators.
The recognition reflects the experience Eagle Aviation provides on the ground for private, corporate, and charter aircraft traveling through Columbia, from fueling and aircraft support to coordinating arrivals, departures, and everything in between for passengers and crews.
“For us, this is a direct reflection of the people who trust us with their aircraft and their time,” said Lee Thomas, owner of Eagle Aviation. “We’re grateful to the customers who thought enough of our team to put us in this position, and just as grateful for the team here that shows up every day focused on doing things the right way.”
Thomas emphasized that the recognition reinforces a simple approach to service. “Quality, safety, service, and anticipating customers’ needs are always at the core of what we do,” he said. “At the end of the day, it comes down to treating people the way you want to be treated.”
Operating 24/7 at CAE, Eagle Aviation supports a wide range of aviation activity, from business aircraft and charter flights to cargo and commercial operations. In addition to ground services, the company also provides aircraft maintenance, paint and interior refurbishment, flight training, charter, and aircraft sales and acquisitions.
“This doesn’t happen by accident,” said Tyler Moser, Director of Marketing & Customer Experience. “It’s a team effort across every part of the operation. Whether someone is here for 30 minutes or a few days, the goal is the same, make it easy, make it smooth, and make sure they’re taken care of.”
Moser added that the recognition also highlights Columbia’s growing role in aviation across the Southeast. “We’re seeing more operators choose CAE because they know what to expect when they get here,” he said. “That consistency builds trust, and that’s what brings people back.”
Eagle Aviation views the recognition as a benchmark to build on as traffic through Columbia continues to grow.
