Edisto Habitat for Humanity’s hosts Women Build event May 21

May 6, 2022

Edisto Habitat for Humanity has opened registration for the annual Women Build Fundraiser and Volunteer Day scheduled for Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 8:30 am.

“Women Build isn’t simply about building a house,” said Executive Director Jessica Burgoyne. “Women Build gives volunteers a chance to understand how critical affordable housing is to build a stronger, safer community.”

Interested parties can access the registration link by going to the Edisto for Habitat for Humanity Facebook Page’s Women Build event. The link will direct volunteers to the registration form. Women Build does not require any construction experience, and men are always welcome to participate.

The organization is still looking for a sponsor to donate lunches for the volunteers.
