EdVenture announces Spring and Summer Camps

COLUMBIA, SC – EdVenture Children’s Museum is offering more than 25 themed camps during the 2016 season for campers ages 3-12. From creating the superhero of their dreams to robotics and cooking, children are guaranteed a fun time at the South’s largest children’s museum.

Spring Break Camp will feature a different fun-genda each day from March 28 through April 1. Campers will engage in various activities from exploring their culinary curiosities in EdVenture’s Cooking Lab to making a scientific discovery working with real lab equipment in the museum’s BioInvestigations Lab. EdVenture will also offer a Girls’ STEM Camp, sponsored by Ingersoll Rand and Richland Two School District.

Summer Camps will extend throughout the summer from June x until August x. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of summer fun including Tasty Tinkers Camp, EDDIE’s World Camp, Giggle Science Camp, Mini- Makers Camp, Storybook Smash-Up Camp, Robo-fun Camp, and many more.
For the first time, EdVenture will offer three week-long specialty camps during the summer, sponsored by the SC Autism Society. Campers will make robots, explore the art of videography or create their own superhero.
