Holiday Village at EdVenture Kicks off with St. Nick’s Arrival Down the Chimney

EdVenture Children’s Museum is pleased to announce the grand opening of Santa’s Holiday Village on Friday, November 29. Children and adults are invited to be on-hand to welcome Santa, Mrs. Claus and Little Elf to Columbia!   Santa Claus will arrive down the special EdVenture chimney at 10 AM and will be at the museum until 3 PM.

The holiday season at EdVenture will be fun for the entire family. Holiday themed science experiments, STEAM-based programming, healthy holiday cooking demonstrations and special programming will be offered.  EdVenture will offer Sensitive Santa evenings for families with children with sensory sensitivities on Thursday, December 5 and Friday, December 6 (advanced registration is required.) Sensitive Santa offers the opportunity for children and their families to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus in a calm environment with lower lighting and a limited number of guests in the museum. On Saturday, December 7, EdVenture will celebrate Holidays around the World with cultural experiences for guests to learn about other holiday traditions and experiences. Children can visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus each weekend until December 22 from 10 AM until 3 PM. For a full calendar of events, visit edventure.org.
