Signature Fundraiser Brings Designer Yigal Azrouël to the Midlands

COLUMBIA, SC – March 20, 2014 – EdVenture Children’s Museum and Coplon’s presents Girls Night Out on March 20, 2014.  This exciting night of fashion, music, food and fun is bringing the season’s hottest new fashions to the runway for the twelfth year. New York fashion designer, Yigal Azrouël, will be showcasing his collection in this high-energy fashion show being held under the stars on EdVenture’s  Congaree Terrace. Girls Night Out has become a signature fundraiser for the museum and a premier fashion event for the Midlands. The evening includes Azrouël’s pop-up shop boutique, music from DJ Chris Wenner, and delicious hors d’oeuvres and cocktails from local favorites.

Born and raised in Israel of French-Moroccan descent and always traveling to locations both metropolitan and remote, Yigal Azrouël draws inspiration from art, culture, architecture, nature and his hometown- New York City. Azrouël launched his eponymous women’s wear label in New York in 1998 and began his participation in New York Fashion Week in 2000. Azrouël defines his aesthetic using high-quality fabrics to drape structured, ultra-feminine and modern silhouettes. Azrouël launched Cut25 for the Fall 2010 season, offering an artisanal approach to design and the philosophy that unique and innovative fashion can be accessible for those who seek it. His signature women’s wear label, men’s ready-to-wear collection and a budding accessories line can be found at his flagship on Madison Avenue on the Upper East Side.
