Edwards listed among Midlands Legal Elite

COLUMBIA, SC – Susan Edwards, a founding member of the South Carolina law firm of Gaffney Lewis & Edwards, is being honored as among the Legal Elite of the Midlands in the latest edition of Columbia Business Monthly.
Edwards, who practices in the firm’s Columbia office, was recognized for her work in family law. Her selection came after a vote of other attorneys who live and practice throughout the Midlands. The top 10 lawyers in each of 10 practice areas were selected from among nearly 300 nominees.
This is the third consecutive year Edwards has been honored as a Legal Elite.
A native of the Midlands who grew up in Leesville, Edwards graduated from the Campbell University School of Law in 2001. She holds a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of South Carolina. Along with Amy L. Gaffney and Regina Hollins Lewis, she formed Gaffney Lewis & Edwards in 2007.
In addition to family law, Edwards’ practice includes general litigation and premises liability.
