Salon Seeks Deserving Candidates for Day of Beauty
CHAPIN, SC – January 7, 2013 – Chapin’s Ego Boost Salon is going to treat six lucky ladies to a day of beauty as it celebrates its one-year anniversary of business at 504B Old Lexington Highway, and they need your help identifying some deserving candidates.
“We want to find six deserving candidates for full-blown makeovers at our salon,” explained Ego Boost owner George Brugger. “They may be moms, or teachers, a co-worker, neighbor or friend from church; anyone who is deserving of a new look or needs a little updating with hair style, make-up and nail treatments. We are asking Chapin to send us a quick nomination explaining why their special lady should be picked for this Magical Makeover.”
Nominations should include the name of candidate, their contact information (phone and email), and a brief description of why this person is deserving of a Magical Makeover from Ego Boost, in 200 words or less. Photos can be submitted with the nomination but will not be returned. The deadline for contest entries is Friday, January 25 at 5 pm. Then the staff at Ego Boost will select the top six nominations and announce the names on Tuesday, January 29 via their Facebook page. They will also contact the candidates directly.
The chosen finalists will come in Saturday, Feb. 2 from 10 am to 2 pm to have their makeover experience, which includes hair color/cut/style, make-up and nail treatment. Ego Boost will take Before and After photos which will be on display at the salon and posted on Facebook for people to vote for the Best Makeover. Voting will last through February 13, and the winner will be announced on Valentine’s Day to receive a grand prize of a romantic dinner for two along with a variety of beauty products and other prizes.
“Making our clients feel beautiful is a big part of our business so we thought this would be a great way to reward some local women with a day of beauty and showcase our talented stylists, make-up artists and nail technicians,” added Cliff Fulmer of the salon. “It will be fun having people check out our Facebook page and coming by the salon to vote for their favorite makeover. And what’s better than getting all pretty for a night out on the town to celebrate Valentine’s? We think it will be great fun, and we look forward to getting a lot of nominations!”
