Electric Guard Dog Announces New National Accounts Director

May 20, 2015

COLUMBIA, SC – Electric Guard Dog, the #1 Theft Deterrent Service, announced today that the company has promoted Regional Sales Executive Jason Reed to National Accounts Director, effective immediately. He will report directly to CEO Jack DeMao.

Reed has been with the market leading company in electric security fencing since November 2013.

CEO Jack DeMao commented, “In his time with EGD, Jason has shown himself to have superb organizational and follow-up skills which we believe will be of value to our National Account customers. National accounts represent almost 40% of EGD’s business, and therefore merit this type of focused attention. All of our national accounts have a single point of contact within our customer service department, as well as dedicated resources within inside sales. One of Jason’s roles will be to coordinate this Columbia HQ-based support with our network of outside sales executives, and we’re looking forward to great things.”

Voted one of South Carolina’s “Best Places to Work” in 2014, Electric Guard Dog is no stranger to internal job promotions: the company fosters an environment to train, retain, and promote effective employees.  Reed’s promotion even closes a notable loop in fostering that environment: all three of the company’s heads of department in sales are now the result of internal promotions.

Reed commented, “We have a very strong management team that has provided me with guidance. EGD makes sure that we are doing everything we can to keep our customers secure by providing them with an excellent customer service team, experienced technicians, and local representation. It is a company and service that is second to none.”
