Eliza Ingle joins coker College Board of Trustees

Eliza Ingle, a professor of dance at the College of Charleston, has been elected for a second time to the Coker College Board of Trustees.
“We are thrilled to have Eliza back on our Board,” said Coker College President Robert Wyatt. “Her artistic background and creative endeavors, along with her familiarity with Coker College, is a welcome addition.”
Ingle’s three-year term will begin with the annual meeting of the Board of Trustees, on October 27, 2016.
In addition to teaching modern dance, dance history and choreography at the College of Charleston, Ingle is a certified Pilates instructor and regularly reviews dance performances for Charleston’s Post and Courier and City Paper.
After graduating from Middlebury College, Ingle continued training at the Merce Cunningham and Erick Hawkins Studios. In addition to choreographing and performing in South Carolina, she also has experience in New York and Massachusetts. She has danced extensively with the Anonymity Dance Company and in her own studio.
Ingle currently serves on the board of The Sophia Institute and formerly served on the board of the Children’s Hospital of the Medical University of South Carolina.
Ingle resides in Charleston, South Carolina, with her husband, David, and their three daughters.
The Coker College Board of Trustees meets quarterly and maintains broad responsibility for the mission, long-range direction, policies and financial condition of the institution.
