Bob Wilson to Oversee HR Activities Across Firm’s 10 Offices in Southeast
CHARLOTTE, NC, October 17, 2008 – Elliott Davis, LLC, one of the largest accounting and business advisory firms in the Southeast, recently named Bob Wilson as chief human resources officer. Wilson will oversee personnel activities including: recruiting and retention, performance management, strategic planning, merger integrations, forecasting and change management at the firm’s 10 offices throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Virginia.
Prior to joining Elliott Davis in 2008, Wilson served more than 20 years in numerous capacities at McGladrey & Pullen, LLP/RSM McGladrey, Inc., most recently as senior director of human resources for the accounting firm’s New York unit. Wilson served as a consultant for Coleman, Lew & Associates before joining McGladrey & Pullen, LLP/RSM McGladrey.

Wilson earned a bachelor’s degree from Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill., and a master’s degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana campus, located in Urbana, Ill. Additional certifications include: SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) and a business coaching certificate earned from the University of North Carolina’s Charlotte campus. Wilson is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and past board member of the organization’s Charlotte chapter. He has also served with the Habitat for Humanity and Christ Lutheran Children’s Center. Wilson is based in the firm’s Charlotte, N.C. office.
