Allison Leslie Bowman Joins Firmwide Marketing Team
GREENVILLE, SC – January 28, 2009 – Elliott Davis, LLC, one of the largest accounting, tax and consulting services firms in the Southeast, announces the addition of Allison Leslie Bowman as firmwide communications manager. Located in the Charlotte, N.C. office, she will report directly to Denise Reis, chief marketing officer of the firm.
As communications manager, Bowman will lead Elliott Davis’ internal and external communications initiatives, including the intranet and website, employee communications, collateral development, public relations and advertising across the firm’s 10 offices in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Virginia. Bowman has more than nine years of marketing, public relations and client management experience, including her most recent role marketing professional services worldwide.
Prior to joining Elliott Davis in January 2009, Bowman served as public relations and communications specialist for K&L Gates LLP, a law firm comprised of approximately 1,700 lawyers in 29 offices in North America, Europe and Asia. She formerly served as assistant director of alumni relations and development at the University of Maine School of Law, and news producer for WMTW-TV, both positions held in Portland, Maine.
Bowman earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, N.C. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the Junior League of Charlotte.
