AUGUSTA, GA – November 6, 2008 – Elliott Davis Technology Solutions, LLC (EDTS), a full-service technology consulting firm, announced Service Supervisor Delano Collins has met the 4011 training standard by the National Security Agency (NSA), the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) and Cisco.
The National Security Agency (NSA) and the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) awarded Cisco a formal re-certification recognizing that Cisco security courseware meets the 4011 training standard. This standard is intended for information systems security professionals responsible for the oversight or management of critical networks.
This formal NSA and CNSS recognition gives Cisco the authority to recognize those candidates who have demonstrated that they have met this training standard. Delano demonstrated the skills outlined by the 4011 standard and qualified for this recognition by achieving the Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) certification, as well as passing the Securing Cisco Network Devices (SND) exam. Based in EDTS’ Augusta office, Collins has more than 10 years of IT administrative experience, with a focus on network design and security.
In addition to his recently earned Cisco Certified Security Profession (CCSP) certification, Collins holds the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) + Security, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) + Messaging, Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA), Cisco Internet Security Specialist (CISS), Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA), CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA A+, and CompTIA Server+.
Prior to joining Elliott Davis Technology Solutions in 2006, Delano was employed with Queensborough National Bank & Trust in Louisville, Ga. He earned bachelor’s degrees in computer science and psychology from Augusta State University.
