Emmanuel’s Hammer to host the 2024 Annual Builder’s Breakfast

March 5, 2024

Emmanuel’s Hammer, a nonprofit, faith-based organization providing home rehabilitation services for under-resourced homeowners, will host their annual Builder’s Breakfast on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 7:00 AM.

The event and breakfast, presented by the Fluor Corporation, Magnolia Property Group, and the Community Foundation, will be held at Buncombe Street Methodist Church in Sisk Hall. The church is in downtown Greenville. This year’s guest speaker will be Robert Emory “Bobby” Lamb, a veteran coach with over 100 career NCAA Division I wins and experience building a football program from scratch.

“A safe, sanitary, and secure living environment is critical to a family’s well-being. Emmanuel’s Hammer shares the love of Christ by rebuilding homes and restoring hope in our community,” commented KC Carter, Executive Director of Emmanuel’s Hammer. “We hope to inspire and encourage individuals who want to make a significant difference in the lives of under-resourced families.”

The goal of Emmanuel’s Hammer is not simply to provide decent homes to those in the most critical need but also to develop sustainable solutions for their clients. They help homeowners acquire the resources, knowledge, and experience they will need to continue to support themselves and maintain their newly rehabilitated homes over the long term.

Since its inception, Emmanuel’s Hammer has completed over 550 disaster relief, repair, or remodel missions. For every $1.00 donated, $3.57 is invested in local communities served by Emmanuel’s Hammer through volunteer labor, donated materials, and in-kind donations. Emmanuel’s Hammer work impacts the Upstate community, with 100% of donations received going to that effort.
