Samantha E. Albrecht, an employment lawyer who’s practiced in Columbia for over five years, has joined Burnette Shutt & McDaniel.

She represents clients in a range of employment law cases, including discrimination, wrongful termination and more. “Samantha has a track record of fighting big institutions and agencies on the behalf of victims of sexual harassment, discrimination, and more,” Burnette Shutt & McDaniel co-founder Nekki Shutt said. “She is dedicated to speaking for workers who might not have a voice. We are incredibly pleased that she’s joined us in our mission to move law forward.”

Albrecht earned her juris doctor at the Northern Illinois University College of Law, graduating cum laude. Her bachelor’s degree in political science also was from Northern Illinois University. Additionally, she studied for two years as an undergraduate at the University of South Carolina.
