Engineers Dodd and Reid Join Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood Greenville Team

GREENVILLE, SC – Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood, Inc. (GMC), is pleased to announce Murray Dodd, PE, as Department Manager of Water Resources and one of the newest members of the GMC Greenville team.  Also joining the Greenville team is Water Resources Division Project Manager Tony Reid, PE, following his relocation from GMC’s corporate headquarters in Montgomery, Ala.

As Department Manager of Water Resources, Dodd will be responsible for business development, personnel management, strategic planning, project design management and construction project management.

He currently serves on the Travelers Rest Planning Commission and is a graduate of the Water and Wastewater Leadership Center at UNC Chapel Hill and Leadership Greenville, where he was elected to serve as class speaker. He earned both his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University.

He will be responsible for process and hydraulic design, in addition to coordination and holistic integration of multidiscipline design for water and wastewater treatment projects throughout the region. Reid specializes in biological and physiochemical treatment in engineered systems and has been the process engineer for facilities in the industrial and municipal sectors. Since starting at GMC in 2006, he has managed more than $30 million of construction and worked on more than $60 million of design projects. Notable projects he currently has underway include the Startex-Jackson-Wellford-Duncan Water District membrane expansion in Lyman, S.C., and the water treatment plant and intake project in Walhalla, S.C.

Reid is a licensed Professional Engineer in South Carolina and Alabama and an active member of the American Water Works Association and Water Environment Federation. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of South Alabama and Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Clemson University.
