Global Location Strategies was initially created in the 1970’s as an ancillary service offering within Fluor Corporation, a Fortune 500 engineering and construction firm, at their Greenville, SC office. In 2009, this service was outsourced from Fluor to Global Location Strategies.

GLS is led by the principals Didi Caldwell and Woody Hydrick, who have over 40 years of combined experience. GLS continues to operate out of Greenville, South Carolina and provides consulting services to companies and organizations all over the world.

Since 2012, GLS has over $4B in announced investments.
