Kevin Varner, Owner, Hunter Gatherer Brewery

Kevin Varner opened the Hunter-Gatherer Brewery in 1995, and he has brewed every batch of beer at the H-G for the last 20 years. He learned the craft of brewing at Hales Ales in Seattle, Washington.

Columbia’s longest running brewpub and now full-on brewery at the historic Curtis Wright Hangar, Hunter-Gatherer probably makes the most well-known beer in Columbia.
