Evan Guthrie Law Firm Speaks at Baptist Hill High School Career Fair

CHARLESTON, SC – April 30, 2012 – Evan Guthrie of the Evan Guthrie Law Firm in Charleston, South Carolina participated in the career fair for Baptist Hill High School In Hollywood, South Carolina on Wednesday April 4th 2012.

Attorney Guthrie spoke to students as a representative of the legal profession and lawyers. Mr. Guthrie talked to students that were interested in legal careers and answered their questions. Attorney Guthrie spoke to students from both the high school and middle school.

Many students came by Mr. Guthrie’s table to express interest in a legal career and seek guidance and ask advice. Attorney Guthrie answered questions that ranged from how long it takes to become a lawyer, what kind a grades and classes are needed, to whether it was necessary to major in a specific area of the law. Mr. Guthrie was happy to answer all questions and give advice to all that wanted it. Attorney Guthrie had a one sheet handout that had information about the steps that were needed to go to law school and be a lawyer. Many teachers and school administrators also stopped by to ask questions and seek advice.

Baptist Hill High School is in the Charleston County School District and encompasses many students that live in Hollywood and the surrounding areas. This was the last career fair that Attorney Guthrie was scheduled to attend for this school year. Mr. Guthrie was glad to be able to participate in the career fair and looked forward to being able to come back and contribute the following year.
