First Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) in Clinton is embarking on an exciting journey to enrich our worship experience through the appointment of a dynamic Director of Music on a part-time basis. We are seeking a passionate individual rooted in Christian faith, committed to fostering fellowship, and dedicated to serving our community through the ministry of music.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

The Director of Music will be responsible for developing and overseeing our music program, which includes directing the adult choir and adult handbell choir. We are looking for someone who can curate inspiring musical selections for our services and church meetings, enhancing the worship experience for our congregation. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have the ability to create engaging music programs and educational opportunities involving church members of all ages, from children to adults.

A college degree in music is preferred for this position, although equivalent experience in church choral direction will be considered. The Director of Music will report directly to the Worship and Music Committee and will collaborate closely with the Senior Pastor of First Presbyterian Church.
