Experience four-part harmony live: Low Country Chorus performs at Waccamaw Library on September 24

Music lovers in the Grand Strand area are invited to enjoy an evening of classic barbershop harmony as the Low Country Chorus takes the stage at the Waccamaw Library. Presented as part of the 2026 Friends of the Waccamaw Library (FOWL) Musicians Series, this free public concert will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the DeBordieu-Cross Auditorium (41 St. Paul Place in Pawleys Island).

The Waccamaw Neck Library will host the group for a dynamic performance showcasing the tradition of barbershop music—a rich, four-part a cappella vocal style where singers blend close chords to create a distinctive ringing sound. 

Recognized as part of the national Barbershop Harmony Society, the Low Country Chorus has been entertaining audiences across the Grand Strand for more than three decades. Thanks to the support of FOWL, the concert is completely free and open to the community.
