Experience local culture at the 2nd annual Georgetown County Ag + Art Tour

June 12, 2026

Discover where local food meets rural creativity at the South Carolina Ag + Art Tour of Georgetown County, returning for its second year on Friday, June 26, and Saturday, June 27, 2026. This free, self-guided event invites families, residents, and visitors to explore local farms and historic sites while browsing unique handmade items from regional artisans.

Coordinated locally by Clemson Cooperative Extension, the tour runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm both days. Attendees will get a firsthand look at rural life, enjoy guided tours, interact with farm animals, and watch local artists in action. While admission to every site is entirely free, visitors are encouraged to bring cash or cards to buy fresh produce, local artwork, and unique crafts directly from vendors.

“The Ag + Art Tour is a wonderful way to experience our great farms, talented artisans, and a level of hospitality that is second to none,” says Charley Maxwell, area agribusiness agent with Clemson University Cooperative Extension.

Organizers are also actively recruiting community volunteers to help check in participants and guide visitors through on-site activities. Those interested in volunteering can register using the Volunteer Sign-Up Form.
