Experienced event professional joins Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce

The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce announces the selection of Janie Warren as Events Manager for signature and series events. Formerly with Duvall Events, Warren brings years of event management and creation experience to the Chamber staff.

Warren will facilitate signature events such as the Legislative Reception, Annual Meeting and Economic Outlook Conference. She is responsible for guiding series events including Leadership Circle and Executive Women’s Roundtable.

Prior to joining the Charleston Metro Chamber, Warren was the Catering and Events Sales Coordinator for Duvall Events where she managed over 150 events in 2016. She was an integral team member in the opening of the Gaillard Center and has assisted in the planning of the Family Circle Cup.

“With her experience in event management, impeccable attention to detail and contagious enthusiasm, Janie is a fantastic addition to our team,” said Claire Porter, the Chamber’s Membership Relations Director.

Janie is originally from the upstate and attended the College of Charleston earning a degree in Hospitality, Tourism Management and Business Administration. She has recently moved to Mt. Pleasant with her roommate and dog Cooper.
