Explore Asian American cuisine & culture in the Midlands

Richland Library is cultivating a conversation with local business owners, influencers and scholars. Join us for Food Brings Us Together: Asian American Experiences in Columbia from 7 – 8:30 p.m., Monday, May 24. Please register at richlandlibrary.com for the online program, which is free and open to the public.

Cultural anthropologist and freelance writer Bach Pham is set to lead the discussion on food, heritage and Asian American experiences in the Midlands. Panelists include:

  • Shigeharu Kobayashi, Camon Japanese Restaurant
  • Dr. Seulghee Lee, UofSC Assistant Professor of African American Studies and English
