August 26, 2021

Register today for Foreign Language classes at Upstate International. There are 10 languages to choose from this Fall and over 30 classes: American Sign Language, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Turkish. There’s a class for every kind of student, beginner to advanced and everything in between. Experience diverse cultures, make connections, improve your resume, and discover the world without ever leaving the upstate! Classes begin the week of August 3oth and will be completed by December 10th.

This fall Upstate International is offering a hybrid schedule with some classes being taught in person and many others being taught online. Fall regular classes are $130, meeting once a week for 12 weeks; each class is 75 minutes and will be conducted at the UI office or online. Fall intensive classes are $385, meeting twice a week for 12 weeks; each class is 90 minutes and will be conducted at the UI office or online.

Students must be members of Upstate International. Membership is $50 per individual for a yearly membership which would cover multiple semesters of language learning.

Take advantage of weekly classes this semester with class fees at approximately $10 per hour. Upstate International, a nonprofit, strives to keep the cost low so as to allow as many upstate residents as possible the opportunity to learn a new language or brush up on one they used to know.  Class sizes are small, usually only 3 to 10 students, to enhance the learning experience and every class is taught by native speakers eager to share their language and culture and dedicated to helping each student succeed.
