Fall art classes bring global inspiration to Simpsonville students

Local young artists and families will have the opportunity to explore international creative traditions this fall as local instructor Christina Heffernan presents her new semester series, “Art Around the World.”

Operating out of her local home studio, Studio29 (located at 29 Crossvine Way in Simpsonville), “Miss Chris” will host the semester series running from August 25 through December 11, 2026.

Course Schedules & Age Groups

The “Art Around the World” curriculum is tailored across multiple age brackets to accommodate early childhood, upper elementary, middle, and high school schedules, as well as family learning blocks.

Classes meet weekly on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Fridays with the following breakdown:

  • Tuesdays:

    • 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM: K4 – 1st Grade

    • 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: 2nd – 4th Grade

    • 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM: 5th Grade & Up

  • Wednesdays:

    • 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM: 6th – 12th Grade (Online Only)

    • 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Family Art Class

  • Fridays:

    • 9:30 AM – 10:00 AM: K4 – 1st Grade

    • 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: 2nd – 4th Grade

    • 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM: 5th Grade & Up

    • 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Family Art Class

Tuition & Studio Details

To ensure personalized instruction, in-person classes at Studio29 are kept small, with spots capped at 6 to 9 students per group. A minimum of three students is required per class session.

  • Tuition: $15 per student per class

  • Supply Fee: One-time $10 materials fee per student

  • Family Classes: Open to ages 4th through 12th grade (pricing determined by family size)
