Falls Park, Cancer Survivors Park reopening

May 8, 2020

The City of Greenville will reopen Falls Park and the Cancer Survivors Park, as well as the entire length of the Swamp Rabbit Trail within the city limits, at 6 a.m. on Saturday, May 9. The Liberty Bridge will remain closed, as well as all benches and swings in Falls Park. The reopening of the parks and trail is contingent on all users practicing appropriate social distancing and limiting groups to three or less. Park and trail usage will be monitored and conditions will be assessed daily.

Additionally, to facilitate social distancing, the City will close the parking spaces on the west side of Main Street, from Washington Street to McBee Avenue, and the parking spaces on the west side of the Main Street bridge to create more space for pedestrian traffic.
