Famously Hot Columbia Convention Center Offers Surprisingly Cool Summer Savings

COLUMBIA, SC – January 27, 2009 – Let’s face it – we are living in a time where the economy is struggling.  Everyone is working with tight budgets and wasteful spending is not an option.  But you’ve got a conference to plan and with less wiggle room, it seems almost impossible to pull off or even plan at all!  No fear, the staff of the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center (CMCC) is coming to the rescue. 

The CMCC is pleased to announce their special summer promotion.  Between the months of June, July, and August, the CMCC will be offering 25% off meeting space rental.  Adjacent to the convention center, the Hilton Columbia Center will be offering a discounted room rate in conjunction with the facility’s promotion.  Summer promotional rates are available to new business to the Convention Center that will bring more than 300 total hotel room nights to Columbia area hotels.
