February Fun at Your Local Library!

The Laurens County Public Library System invites families to spread their wings and join in a variety of engaging and creative programs happening during the first week of February. With activities designed for all ages, the libraries are sure to bring fun and learning to the community.

Owl Art at Laurens Library

Kick things off at the Laurens Library on Saturday, February 3, at 4:00 PM with Owl Art, a hands-on craft session for children aged 6 to 10. Young participants will create a Snowy White Owl using pine cones while discovering fascinating facts about these incredible nocturnal birds.

Valentine Slime-Making at Clinton Library

Head over to the Clinton Library on Sunday, February 4, at 11:00 AM for a slimy good time! Kids aged 6 to 10 will get messy with a Valentine-themed slime-making workshop, blending creativity and science in a fun, interactive setting.

Needle Felting for All Ages

Craft enthusiasts aged 8 and up are invited to the Clinton Library on Monday, February 5, at 11:00 AM to learn the art of flat needle felting. Participants will create personalized Valentine’s Day favors, felting directly onto handkerchiefs with designs like flowers, hearts, or initials.

Family Bingo Night

Wrap up the week with a Family Bingo Night at the Laurens Library on Tuesday, February 6, at 5:30 PM. Bring the whole family for an evening filled with fun, friendly competition, and prizes.
